Compliance & AML Analyst (m/f/d)

MY DUTIES:

- Monitor and analyse customer profiles and transactions to detect any suspicious patterns or indications of money laundering or illicit activities
- Verify that the KYC tasks under the responsibility of the Relationship Managers have been performed correctly and all required documentation is duly filed
- Conduct periodic compliance controls according to the Annual Control Plan and internal guidelines/ work instructions, primarily in the areas
- Know Your Customer (correctness of the UBO identification, adequacy of customer documentation etc.)
- Trade Finance (focus on Anti-Financial Crime assessment)
- Investment Services (customer classification, documentation, information obligations towards customers, personal account dealing (Mitarbeitergeschäfte) etc.)
- Assess and summarize the control findings in a Control Report and follow up on the necessary remediation actions.

MY QUALIFICATIONS:

- Experience with AML/ KYC legislation (GwG, BaFin AuAs etc.)
- Legislation know-how applicable to the provision of Investment Services (MiFID II/ WpHG, MaComp etc.)
- Specific focus on AML/ KYC or Investment Services
- Knowledge regarding transaction monitoring tools commonly used within the financial industry
- Fluency in English is a must; good knowledge of German is an asset
