Complaint Management Associate

For our client, a pharmaceutical company in Basel, we are currently looking for a

COMPLAINT MANAGEMENT ASSOCIATE
to support the customer complaint function at Consumer Health. Manage market and internal complaints, related investigations at manufacturing sites, CAPAs, and adherence to directives/expectations to ensure patient safety and to protect the brand.

MAIN TASKS:

- Resolve customer complaints from the market or internal complaints as related to product manufactured, released and distributed, which must take into account all manufacturing and distribution processes, quality testing and customer requirements under close supervision.
- Assist and contribute to the resolution of significant customer complaints from the market.
- Oversee and assess investigations in drug product and quality control. Assures timely resolution of issues and implementation of corrective/preventative measures using scientific and GMP and product regulatory compliance principles for root cause analysis and product impact assessment. Use scientific judgment in alignment with supervisor to ask key questions during investigations intended to identify root cause of issues.
- Supports signal and trending analysis of complaints and associated KPI's relevant to the complaint management process.

REQUIREMENTS:

- At least 2 years of relevant experience either in complaint management, Quality Control or Quality Assurance function or relevant scientific degree
- Ideally general knowledge and experience in pharmaceutical subject matter areas ie Manufacturing of Drug Substance and Drug Products; Product disposition and release; Discrepancy management; Product inspection and labeling; Environmental monitoring; Contract manufacturing.
- General cGMP knowledge.
- Ability to work cooperatively in teams and peer relationships.
- Proficiency in spoken and written English language
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word applications
