COMMUNITY MANAGER - 12-MONTH CONTRACT FIXED TERM - GLOBAL FASHION BRAND

Leading London Communications agency requires experienced Community Manager to work on-site for one of their global fashion brand clients on an initial 12-month fixed-term contract beginning as soon as possible.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Be the voice of the brand on social media.
- Work with the wider newsroom team to build a functioning social media strategy, ensuring that it is aligned to the client's global plan.
- Develop, enhance and maximise our owned channels and those of our partners/assets social networks.
- Work with Internal stakeholders to develop our earned channels across social.
- Ensure the highest standards of Community management are adhered to across all platforms.
- Ensure trending topics are monitored and managed positively and negatively, effectively develop a system to report this to the wider business
- Own the weekly editorial process, ensuring a collaborative approach across all of the categories and then effectively share the editorial calendar will all stakeholders.
- Own the real life calendar, ensuring the brand is plugged in and relevant to social zeitgeist conversations.
- Lead on the development of our social media management and listening tools.
- Work with international counterparts to influence the global tools to suit the UK and Irish market.
- Liaise externally with agencies to augment/adapt/create marketing materials. Work with these agencies to provide advice on all social media spend.
- Build a strong relationship with the newsroom analyst to interpret data in Real Time, share these learnings with the newsroom.
- In particular, know the London consumer. Be able to share insights and social understanding of trends and behaviours for this consumer.

KPI'S:

- Engagement metrics across all channels
- Improve the brand health through a developed and complete social media strategy
- Support the commercial performance of the business by driving traffic to the E-Comm site.

- Brand activation, Sports Marketing, Retail Marketing, Trade Marketing, Global newsroom network, Sports Marketing, PR

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

- Strong communication skills: written, oral and presentation
- In depth understanding of local markets' consumers (London), economic environment and commercial needs
- Analytics: ability to analyse data to improve strategic decision making and implementation
- Creative: ability to shape the implementation of marketing plans

REQUISITE EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE/MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

- Communications qualification or equivalent industry experience (4 years minimum)
- Proven community management and social strategy experience
- Experience of sport or youth related marketing preferably with Global brands linked to sport
