Community Care Supervisor

COMMUNITY CARE SUPERVISOR - PART-TIME 20HRS - CRAIGMILLAR EDINBURGH - £18000-£20000 PRO RATA

Our client is now looking to recruit an experienced Community Care Supervisor to manage a dedicated team of community care workers in the Craigmillar area. You will need to be a car owner/driver, have already achieved a level 3 qualification in health & social care and have good experience working with older people's services. Our client is a well- respected, quality driven care provider who is expanding hence this new opportunity.

This exciting and challenging new position is a part time role working 20hrs a week and is on a 12 month basis with a view to going permanent after that.

You will need good knowledge of the regs and care standards and be quality focused as your role will ensuring that staff deliver high quality care and support to service users, you will also need to have experience with staff supervisions, holding team meetings, liaising with care managers, NHS, families, colleagues and have good experience of person centred care, risk assessments, assessments and reviews.

You will need to be an approachable, caring, experienced and knowledgeable care professional who has excellent communication skills and who can lead and motivate and encourage a committed team of care staff a positive and supportive attitude will be required to ensure your staff feel valued and cared for. Full training and ongoing support will be given to the successful candidate.
