COMMUNICATIONS OFFICER - GLASGOW - 6 MONTHS - £175-£200PD

Our GLASGOW based client has a fantastic opportunity for an experienced COMMUNICATIONS OFFICER for an INITIAL 6 MONTH CONTRACT.

The successful candidate will

- Lead on internal and external communications
- Managing all on- and off-line channels
- To develop a communications strategy and protocols
- To lead on the planning and delivery of events nationally and locally

ESSENTIAL

- Qualified to degree level or equivalent
- Current relevant experience in a public or voluntary sector setting
- Experience of using social media for corporate communications
- Proficiency in content management systems and Microsoft Office suite
- Experiencing of creating content for online and print publication

- Excellent communication skills: verbal, written, online and face to face
- Confident and effective in leading groups and in presenting to a variety of audiences
- Track record of finding creative solutions to overcoming challenges and hurdles
- Can work independently, meet deadlines and manage challenging workload
- Flexible and positive approach to working in a multi-disciplinary team
