Initial 3 Month Contract (£110 to £125 per day)

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced communications professional to join the communications team of our Lincolnshire based public sector client.

The Communications Officer will play a pivotal role in providing communications expertise across the organisation both internally and externally.

The role is key to enhancing communications and reputation internally with staff and externally with the public, stakeholders, members and media.

A proactive attitude to seeking out positive news stories and building relationships with the media is paramount. Experience of organising events - staff conferences annual meetings etc.

We are seeking an all-rounder who can hit the ground running to work with the media, whether it be proactively pitching ideas or responding to enquiries which challenge the client's reputation. We would like you to act as a news hound to uncover all the good work that is delivered by our dedicated and innovative workforce, and help to raise our profile through staff and membership communications; innovative campaigns; award submissions; web content and social media.

Candidates should be able to demonstrate at least two years' experience of supporting a broad range of communications activities, including creative writing, working with journalists, managing events and have a basic understanding of design and publishing techniques.

You will be able to juggle multiple priorities, meet deadlines, liaise with staff at all levels, travel across the county and display a flexible attitude whilst working autonomously.
