Projektbeschreibung

Communications Officer with a range of marketing skills required for an initial 6 month contract role supporting our public sector client deliver an Environmental campaign in South London.

As Communications Officer your role is to enable successful delivery and implementation of the communications strategy. You will also support successful delivery of specific projects (taking the lead-role/initiative as required) and support delivery of effective communications.

A key part of this role will be to prepare clear and concise copy and communications for a variety of channels and to arrange relevant media activities such as launches, briefings and photo calls.

As Communications Officer you will liaise with internal and external suppliers (web editors, photographers and printers) to manage the quality of work commissioned. You will also manage suppliers where appropriate, obtain estimates from contractors and assess each proposal for value for money.

For the Communications Officer role it is essential that you have good knowledge and understanding of marketing and communication techniques.

You must have previous experience of publication production, event organising (ideally with experience of event management), plus demonstrable experience of managing project communications with a good understanding of media relations. You will also have a broad exposure to communications delivered across multi channels.

In addition as Communications Officer you will have outstanding written and oral English skills and possess the ability to maintain tact, discretion and strict confidentiality when required.
