Communications Manager sought for a long-term contract assignment with a major international Financial Services and Insurance organisation.

Our client is in the early stages of a global, multiyear Operational Improvement programme and require an experienced Communications Manager with a track-record of creating Communications campaigns and providing Communications support for large-scale transformation programmes, especially in relation to International locations and change programmes.

This role involves close liaison with the Group's communications lead on the three-year Operational Improvement Programme that all operational improvement communication is aligned to the Group's strategy and its communications priorities. This is a three year initiative covering the whole of the Group, comprises a number of pillars to transform the business, including the reconfiguration of the workforce towards more low-cost service-hub locations where appropriate, improved IT infrastructure and more efficient real estate facilities.

Responsibilities:

- Working closely with the International leadership team Group Communications lead and the BAU Group Communications team to identify stakeholder groups and segment international audiences according to the programme's various initiatives.
- Working closely with HR to understand the implications of the people transition work streams and advise on appropriate timing and content of communications around procedures such as redundancy processes.
- Create an overarching communications plan for approved business cases, simultaneously ensuring that communications are aligned to other company initiatives.
- Define key messaging for each initiative, in Tandem with Group messaging and overall messaging
- Develop, prepare and deliver communications through the appropriate channels, including liaison with legal teams as well as HR and Group Communications
- Evaluate and measure the effectiveness of communications and employee engagement.

Experience/Requirements

- Experience of creating communications campaigns for large-scale transformation programmes essential.
- Experience in providing communications support to International locations/specific change and workforce reconfiguration programmes essential.
- Knowledge of Financial Services or Insurance, gained within a large organisation, preferred.
- Fluency in English as well as in either German or Italian - written and verbal.

This is a high profile long-term assignment with a major global player in Financial Services and Insurance.
