Communications Manager

My client a leading energy provider in the UK currently has an urgent requirement for a Communications Manager for a highly critical workstream related to consumer engagement. The Communications manager will sit within the Retail & Commercial work stream, reporting to the Smart Brand, Communications & Consumer Engagement Lead and will be responsible for developing and delivering communications and consumer engagement programmes.

The programme will require engagement nationwide so previous experience of internal and external communications for national programmes is required. This person will be responsible for developing consumer engagement and communications plans relevant to agreed specific customer segments or propositions.

Key Skills:

* Strong grounding in external communications, consumer engagement strategy, media management and public affairs

* Significant Track record of delivering communications strategies into operations

* Evidence of leading successful projects in a regulated environment

* Excellent communicator/influencer with the ability to flex/adapt to different audiences and ability to manage senior stakeholders and customers to get engagement/alignment

* Experience and understanding of the regulated energy retail market, including knowledge and understanding of compliance requirements

* Strong experience of delivering customer communications projects into a multi-channel service environment

* Ideally an understanding of SAP, System Architecture, functional and technical landscapes
