An Opportunity has arisen to join a leading UK company as a commercial solicitor. You will successfully work with our client to ensure compliance with various regulations to ensure our client operates within the legal framework of legislation: including corporate finance, taxation, contract work (supply chain/employment law including FTE & contractors). As a commercial solicitor you will also deal with business related disputes progress their commercial goals and corporate strategy.

You must demonstrate the ability to understand a client's business needs and adopt a pragmatic commercial approach to issues. You will be a self-starter who is capable of operating with limited supervision, while consulting appropriately on difficult issues and exercising sound judgment on risk.

You must have very good client facing experience, and excellent experience of working on multi-jurisdictional transactions.

You will also have a good working knowledge of specialised areas of law such as competition, procurement and employment law.

It is expected that the successful applicant will be a UK-qualified commercial solicitor with strong academic, technical, drafting and personal skills are essential.

You will be a commercial lawyer with a good range of experience in areas of law such as:

*Standard terms and conditions of supply and purchase
*Supply of services and professional advisory contracts
*Supply agreements
*Joint ventures, co-operation and collaboration agreements, strategic partnerships
*Procurement & outsourcing and logistics agreements
*IT contracts and data protection
*Lease, hire and maintenance agreements
*Familiarity with consumer protection, consumer credit act, data protection, charities, public bodies
