Commercial Manager

COMMERCIAL MANAGER - BASED IN SWINDON - 6 MONTH CONTRACT - £400 A DAY

This large financial organisation is actively seeking a Commercial Manager for a 6 month contract. With multiple branches all over the UK they are the market leaders within their sector; however this role is based at their head quarters in Swindon.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES REQUIRED FOR THE COMMERCIAL MANAGER ROLE ARE:

- Execute sourcing transactions or managing specified vendors
- Management of internal and external relationships with key stakeholders
- Creating contractual documentation
- Develop, maintain and use specified governance documentation
- Creation of monthly performance reports
- You will be responsible for ensuring that action plans are in place for any audit, frameworks or risk actions that are raised in their nominated vendors.
- Monitor the performance of a vendors
- Responsible for risk escalations or audit actions that are not being managed by the vendors

EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED FOR THE COMMERCIAL MANAGER ROLE ARE:

- Education to degree level or equivalent (or relevant professional qualification such as CIPS)
- Extensive experience of managing supplier relationships, examples of delivering savings, process efficiencies, development and application of balanced scorecards, and value-added benefits
- Experience of managing contracts and commercial management of 3rd parties
- Experience of building strong relationships and providing the necessary leadership to drive consistent process improvements with great communication and negotiation skills
