IHRE AUFGABEN:

-To support and challenge the package manager, specifically in commercial areas
-Acts as stand-in for the package where necessary
-To provide the package interface to procurement, legal, tax and credit risk
-To support the procurement process, in particular conditions of contract and commercial aspects
-Drafting of contract summary and setting up of contract action list, support the monitoring of both employer and contractor operations relative to the boundaries defined by the contract
-Supports the package in developing ongoing strategies for effective contract execution
-Preparation and support in negotiating and establishing contractual agreements and variation orders together with package managers
-Ensure dispute readiness of the package
-Preparation and reporting of current commercial and contract/claim status for the package
-Responsible for package interface to the controllers and the risk manager
-Responsible for the identification and mitigation of contractual risks and the identification and realization of appropriate opportunities
-Identifies and mitigates potential contractor claims and identifies potential employer claims, maintaining a log for potential claims, notices and variations.
-Drafts correspondence to contractor when appropriate and signs off on all formal contractor communication
-Attends supplier meetings
-Supports regular updates with the project planner to assess the adherence of the package to contractually agreed planning and to determine the consequences of deviations
-Drafts all claims related correspondence e.g. instructions, determinations, notices, variation orders and employer claims
-Advises package manager with regards to variation requests and/or notices from a contractor
-Steers and aligns with legal department and in-/external claim managers
-Liaise and align with claim manager and insurance manager

-Quantity surveying
-FIDIC or similar general terms conditions of contract
-Negotiation
-Claim cost assessment
-Claim extension of time assessment
-Communication and presentation
-English fluent
-MS Office especially Excel
