Commercial Admin Technician

COMMERCIAL ADMIN TECHNICIAN - TEMPORARY VACANCY - ASAP START - 2 MONTH CONTRACT

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, motivated Admin Assistant to join a well-known construction company on a temporary contract basis with an immediate start date. The Technician, under close supervision, will assist Quantity Surveyors in the field of measurement, production of application payments and day to day administrative tasks.

The successful administrator must have advanced Microsfot excel experience as well as Word and Outlook.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Assist with the assembly of applications and invoicing
- Provide administration assistance to Street Lighting Quantity Surveyors
- Record keeping
- Conduct business with the highest ethical standards and has decision making skills that ensure the safety of all persons associated with BBLP's Street Lighting service provision
- Other duties as assigned by Quantity Surveyors.

SKILLS REQUIRED (ESSENTIAL):

- Ability to immediately respond to emergency situations and/or customer needs
- Highly numerate educational qualifications
- Ability to verbally comprehend details and instructions
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Highly numerate with good excel skills
- Experience of working within a busy office environment
- Competent IT User (including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook)

(DESIRABLE):

- Previous experience within the construction/civil engineering industry
