*Collections and Recovery Analyst*

The role holder will be responsible for leveraging data and modelling assets to define and propose Strategy solutions that deliver measurable improvements in collections and recoveries performance. They will work closely with internal business partners in scoring and analytics, Datawarehouse and Collections Operations to re-define the approach to Collections delivering a more analytical and measurable platform whilst simplifying the existing approach.
Lead and define Collections and Recoveries strategy re-development.
Leverage data and modelling assets to influence decision making and strategic direction.
Mitigate Credit Losses and Financial returns through refinement of existing strategies and development of strategy recommendations that improve collections performance and deliver portfolio objectives. Call out emerging economic risks and offer recommendations.
Optimise post charge off recoveries through more effective segmentation and improved understanding of asset value. Evaluate and make recommendations for opportunities for accelerated asset sale.
Influence the selection, design and implementation of a new collections platform - that project is likely to start with the duration of this placement
Improve the control environment through simplification of the Collections business model.
Lead strategy performance tracking for Collections and Recoveries proactively updating forecasts based on early performance and making strategy adjustment recommendations as appropriate.
Proactively manage control environment by leading self-assessment of strategy programs to ensure they are delivering expected actions. Prepare/contribute to updates for various internal and external regulatory bodies
Assess capabilities of existing team and recommend appropriate actions that improve overall team capability.
