Collections & Recoveries Manager

COLLECTIONS & RECOVERIES MANAGER

Our blue chip client is currently looking for a Collections & Recoveries Manager to undertake a 6 month contract in Edinburgh.

The Collections & Recoveries Manager will be responsible for:

- developing policy for Collections and Recovery activity
- ensuring alignment with supplier's operational procedures
- undertaking analysis to ensure that the client is aligned with industry best practice, and
- benchmarking key financial performance metrics.

THE COLLECTIONS & RECOVERIES MANAGER WILL ALSO HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

- Experience in the financial services industry
- Extensive Collections and/or Recoveries experience and with experience of developing policies.
- Well organised and able to prioritise workload in line with tight deadlines and work effectively under pressure.
- Highly numerate, with excellent analytical and problem solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent team player with ability to working closely with others to deliver results.
- Customer focused with strong awareness of Conduct Risk issues in a debt management environment.
- Proven track record of working on own initiative, with the ability to introduce fresh thinking to the role and the wider team.
- Strong relationship management skills.
- Exceptional communication skills - ability to communicate effectively with anyone in any environment, eg able to translate complex/technical issues to meet the audience's competency level.
