COLDFUSION DEVELOPER

SKILLS: ColdFusion, HTML/DHTML, JavaScript, SQL, and strong communication skills

SUMMARY
This is a 6 month+ contract position working for a premier University inside the perimeter. The ColdFusion Developer will ensure customer satisfaction is met or exceeded in the support of Legacy services applications - designing, modifying, developing, writing and implementing solutions.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Create, modify, and document existing ColdFusion web applications 
- Providing life cycle support for the application against department SLAs
- Liaison with the business stakeholders to understand business requirements
- Participation in converting business requirements to functional and design specifications
- Development and delivery of design specifications
- Create, modify, and query relational databases

QUALIFICATIONS

- Advanced Cold Fusion development skills - Adobe CF 9 required
- Advanced Javascript, CSS, HTML/DHTML skills
- Advanced Database Development Skills (DB schema design, SQL, Stored procedures) - cross database (Oracle, MS SQL Server. MS Access) and cross server queries
- Intermediate installation, configuration, tuning skills with Windows, IIS, JVM/JRE, and Linux
- Intermediate skills with MS Access a big plus
- Intermediate application data integration skills using technologies based in RPC, Web Services, Replication, and FTP against packaged enterprise software applications and Middleware
- BS/BA in Computer Science, MIS or related field or experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
