Cognos BI Consultant

JOB TITLE: FUNCTIONAL/TECHNICAL BI CONSULTANT
JOB LOCATION: LAAKDAL, BELGIUM
JOB TYPE: CONTRACT

The Functional/Technical Cognos BI Consultant is primarily responsible for development and/or implementation of reporting and analysis solutions. Specific business knowledge and experience in the domain of Distribution
Describe functional requirements as a conceptual input to application design (business requirements, database model design and/or possible interfaces to the data warehouse, define and develop enterprise reporting solutions such as scorecards, management dashboards, );
Project management experience (Agile) is definitely an asset;
Being able to provide training covering BI related concepts and tools.

THE REQUIRED SKILLS ARE AS FOLLOWS:

Has relevant experience with IBM Cognos v10 (Report Studio, Framework Manager, Transformer, Active reporting, MDX, Cognos Workspace Advanced,).
Has experience with Multi-Dimensional Modelling;
Knowledge of Visualization techniques/methodologies
Has a passion for Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing;
Strong Experience as a BI functional/technical consultant;
Conceptual knowledge of ETL process and functions;
