Description

- Primary responsibility is to monitor and support Cognos EP production models and publications.
- Must demonstrate ability to educate and work users on Cognos BI and Cognos EP features/tools and best practices; expertise in Cognos EP and Cognos BI architecture and configuration in a shared environment.
- Provide overall project management for the development of business information systems Cognos EP), ensuring desired outcomes are met on schedule and within budget.
- Ensure integration with other business applications, and consistency with established data/information standards.
- Analyze workflow, identifying operational issues.
- Work collaboratively with operations and IT staff to implement workflow or system improvements necessary to meet business information needs and user requirements.

Develops BI technical strategy and has the ability to leverage in-depth business knowledge to translate complex business analysis and reporting requirements into technical designs; ability to educate and work users on Cognos BI and Cognos EP features/tools and best practices; expertise in Cognos EP and Cognos BI architecture and configuration in a shared environment.

Position is temporary to support system until FTE is hired and onboarded.

Minimum number of years of experience required 5+

- Manage contributor applications
- Develop, implement and monitor routine processes such as GTP, admin links, contributor macros etc
- Monitor daily data load procedures
- Configure, manage and Implement publish containers
- Manage security ( access tables, user rights ), e-List, jobs etc
