Our client a world leading Investment Bank based in the City are currently looking to recruit a Metals Support/Development Specialist with a broad ranging skill-set (Support, Development, Business Analysis and Service Management) the role will be very much 360 and fit an "All-rounder".
A background working within Commodities & Metals would be advantageous.
Key Responsibilities
On Site support
Support with Lead Developer
Develop code for in-house application
Develop extracts from the built database to help support a migration
Implement releases and hot fixes
Key Technical Skills
Strong hands on experience with DEC VAX/VMS Operating system
VMS Programming
Cobol programming
SQL database & writing SQL queries
