Huxley is a recruitment agency, specialised in IT profiles, for Belgian commercial and banking companies.
For a client based in the Flemish Brabant, Huxley is looking for two COBOL Developers.
Start date is ASAP and the duration of the project should last for 6 months. Extensions are possible.
As a proven experienced COBOL Developer, you would join a team to work on projects that have a delivery date next year. Existing cobol workforce is not sufficient, and my client is looking for extra hands. Therefore, real autonomy is necessary to jump right in, and adapt straight away to their environment and system.
Active in the logistics industry, it would therefore be a strong asset if you have a first experience in that domain, or in everything related to warehouse management. SAP is a plus.
You are the ideal candidate if you have:
- Proven experience in COBOL development
- Good knowledge in extraction from VSAM files, and XML file formats
- You speak English minimum (Dutch is a plus)
- You are available immediately or within a short period of time.
