CNC Turner/CNC Operator/CNC Setter

On behalf of my client I am currently seeking CNC Turners for a position that I'm working on for my client based in East Sussex. Experience in the vacuum industry is essential. You must have training of an accredited craft apprenticeship plus minimum three years experience of machining and a proven track record of turning different sizes and shapes of components accurately and achieving tight tolerance, plus dealing with the associated problems You will need to be able to read and understand engineering drawings

Essential Job Functions and Accountabilities:

*Read, understand and operate various machine code programs to produce turned parts on different machines.
*Set up machines to requirements
*Run two or more machines simultaneously, adhering to the set cycle times.
*Log hourly quantities onto production sheets supplied at intervals.
*Read engineering drawings and ensure that critical dimensions are correct by checking regularly throughout each batch, according to the drawings supplied of each part.
*Clock on/off works order to indicate start/completion of job
*Meet deadlines and quality standards for both internal and external customers.
*Improve efficiency by working to reduce set-up time and increase parallel running

GCSE/O-level Maths and English preferred.
