CMA Accounts Manager - CCAB Required

CMA ACCOUNTS MANAGER Contract opportunity working in LONDON for 4 MONTHS INITIALLY.

We are looking for a CMA ACCOUNTS MANAGER for our public sector client.

ROLE: CMA ACCOUNTS MANAGER

LOCATION: LONDON

DURATION: 4 MONTHS INITIALLY WITH POSSIBLE EXTENSION

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE:

-CCAB newly qualified accountant or someone finishing their studies for this qualification.
-Accustomed to using Agressor. Able to work to tight deadlines independently and a strong communicator.
-Help deliver unqualified Resource Accounts for the CMA to timetable, supported by comprehensive working papers to aid their audit.
-Manage the day to day operational finance transaction processing, ensuring that the Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Fixed Asset functions are accurate and well-controlled.
-Key tasks will include:
-To complete the accurate and timely processing of the Groups' financial transactions; eg Sales LedgerCash Management through processing receipts and payments; etc
-To complete the reconciliation of transactions and balances, investigating differences as required: For example: matching transactions to the Cashbook; Sales Ledger Control Accounts, Purchase Ledger Control Accounts.
-To undertake and contribute to the relevant tasks required to close period ends and Year End as per timetables.
-To undertake and contribute to Statutory Returns as required eg VAT returns
-To identify and implement continuous improvement
-To work to all agreed service levels and processes with both internal and external customers.

DESIRABLE EXPERIENCE:
Experience of the ERP system or its implementation.
