CLOUD SECURITY SPECIALIST

With a specialist experience in Application Security with a Cloud focus. Candidates need to have a solid Agile background and proven experience in cloud and ethical hacking for this contract. This position will sit in the Digital area hence the requirement for a Cloud and Ethical Hacking background/experience.

Candidates will need either their own Dutch limited Company or be willing to be paid via an umbrella company to comply with the Dutch tax laws.

LOCATION: Hoofddorp - Netherlands

LENGTH: 6 months with potential extensions

JOB REQUIREMENTS

You will have expert level knowledge on cloud solutions for;

- Firewall management
- Application Security/Agile Security
- Vulnerability management
- Network Security
- Intrusion Detection

JOB DESCRIPTION

Key responsibilities will include, but not limited to:

- Working closely with the business, and provide authoritative expertise and support based on experience and knowledge of IT applications and operations and of all types of Information Security controls, including legislative or regulatory requirements such as Data Protection.
- Identifying and escalating Information Security risks, incidents or issues on a timely basis.
- Functioning in a team with Compliancy, Privacy and Risk managers and specialists
- Communicating information security issues effectively to business managers, users of systems and networks.
- Provide projects with expertise on Security Solutions
- Lead and implement Security solutions
- Lead by example on Security Awareness
- Supporting many projects and agile environment to develop secure by design
- Keeping up to date with the rapidly changing technology, threats and legislations involved in Cyber Security
- Support the continued development of the Information Security Management System and maintains certification to the ISO27001 standard.

ADDITIONAL:

- You will have previous experience within Information Security. You will have qualified in or will be working towards CISSP or other accreditations. You will have a sound understanding of ISO 27000 standards. Financial Services experience is desirable although not essential.
- Interacting with People establishing relationships and maintaining contacts with people from a variety of backgrounds.
- Educated to bachelor degree level or holds a relevant professional qualification or have a proven level of experience and knowledge of IT infrastructure (hardware, databases, operating systems, local area networks etc) and IT applications and service processes used within organisations.
- Is effective and persuasive in both written and oral communication
