Cloud Security Consultant (Azure)

We are seeking professionals who can temporary act as entrepreneurs to help develop (parts of) our digital platform and/or help our customers onboarding. Our platform will be based upon the latest advances in software and infrastructure architecture including CLOUD NATIVE, CONTAINERS AND MICRO SERVICES MOVEMENTS and related platforms and tools such as Kubernetes and thus we expect candidates to be both passionate about and well versed in these critical subjects.

The Security specialist will be responsible to work with the platform team to ensure all new Cloud Solutions are developed prioritising quality, operational excellence, security and financial viability. Transitioning the new services into operations and defining the appropriate business KPIs and metrics to ensure continued operational excellence and increased customer satisfaction.

QUALIFICATIONS

- Excellent communication skills in English, verbally and in writing to all levels of the organization.
- Experience of working in a multi-cultural and multi-vendor environment in a multi-discipline team in multiple country locations with sound knowledge in building effective working relationships.
- Experience with on-site, offshore, third party and remote team members
- Experience with several fields/aspects of security on:

O IDS/IPS, penetration and vulnerability testing

O TCP/IP, computer networking, routing and switching

O Anti-virus and anti-malware

O Firewall and intrusion detection/prevention protocols

O Secure coding practices, ethical hacking and threat modelling

- Experience on Microsoft Azure (level 300/400), Windows Server and Linux.

EDUCATION/ACADEMICS

- Minimum of 7 years of experience in IT Security management within enterprise environments.
- Professional IT Qualifications in Security Management related expertise
