CLOUD ENGINEER

On behalf of our client, a leading global company within finance, we are looking for a Cloud Engineer. For this contract position based in Zürich in Switzerland our client is looking for an English speaking candidate who can start as soon as possible.

This challenge involves designing and prototyping iteratively with the Application Development teams. The end product has to be robust, functional, flexible, high quality, allows for innovation and empowers to deliver solutions quickly to the clients businesses.

The skills and experience needed for this position are:

- Bachelor Degree in Computer information technology or equivalent
- 4+ years working on public cloud like Amazon WebServices, Rackspace or Google compute.
- 1+ years of experience working on Openstack
- Experience using Cloud Management Platforms such as Rightscale, Cloudforms, Scalr and ServiceMesh
- Experience with Cloud Foundry or Openshift
- Strong linux experience
- Strong background in network, security, storage and DNS
- Excellent understanding of MySQL, MongoDB and RabbitMQ
- 4+ years of experience using Puppet, Chef, Salt or Ansible
- Solid understanding of Docker & LXC and applicable use cases
- Experience with CI/CD tooling such as Jenkins
- Loves to code in Python, Ruby or any other programming language
- Good understanding of Source control systems such as Git, Mercurial or SVN
