Clinical Research Scientist Job

Yoh has a long-term contract opportunity for a CLINICAL RESEARCH SCIENTIST in Woodcliff Lake, NJ.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

- The Clinical Research Scientist will interface with study team members and work closely with the Medical Director to successfully execute studies
- Conduct background research on new indications and studies to establish references and scientific base
- Prepare the protocol synopsis and final protocol including writing, reviewing, amending and cross functional facilitation as appropriate
- Review draft CRFs and provide input into CRF design process.
- Act as primary interface between the Medical Director and the Study manager
- Provide scientific expertise to study managers on both scientific and operational issues related to the study.
- Develop processes for consistent execution of studies.
- Acts independently to uncover and resolve issues associated with the study and escalates as appropriate.
- Review data and analyses on ongoing basis including safety data, primary efficacy variables and lab data.
- Manages issues related to study design and execution.
- Present to data monitoring committees, investigator, etc.
- Prepare key documents such as Clinical Study Reports, briefing packages in coordination with other functions
- Consult on risk management

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

- Bachelor's degree required. PhD, PharmD, MS preferred.
- Minimum of eight (8) plus years of experience in pharmaceutical industry, including relevant clinical development experience.
- Knowledge of clinical trial design, working knowledge of basic statistic, pharmacodynamics and pharmacokinetics.
- Expert across all study phases including design, execution and analysis.
- Experience managing cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in data interpretation
