Clinical Nurse Specialist (Alcohol)

WEEKLY WORKING HOURS: 37 hours per week

INITIALLY 6 MONTHS WITH POSSIBILITY OF FULL TIME WITH NEW SERVICE CONTRACT

BASED AT: City Centre Lincoln

SALARY: Band 6 £25783 - £34530 (Comparable with agenda for change)

Framework is seeking to recruit a Band 6 Nurse to manage alcohol detoxes within the Corner House service. The role will also include participation in health promotion events and the training of staff across Lincolnshire.

The service will reduce the negative impact that alcohol has on the health and social wellbeing of service user's, to reduce the number of hospital admissions through the Emergency Department.

The service will also support a consistent health message to reduce alcohol related harm for Lincolnshire and be a face at events across the city. The training element of the post is offered to equip frontline staff with the skills to identify people with alcohol misuse and offer brief advice or referral as necessary.

You will be a qualified Nurse with at least one year's experience of working with people with alcohol misuse issues. Excellent communication skills and a good knowledge of harm reduction models for alcohol are essential.
