Eingestellt von Bio Careers

Projektbeschreibung

JOB DESCRIPTION:

?Celmatix, Inc. is a rapidly expanding, New York City-based biotechnology company targeting the reproductive medicine sector. Infertility treatment is complex, and at Celmatix, we are developing diagnostic tests to help guide clinical decisions in a more data-driven way, improve reproductive outcomes, and promote "best practices" for infertility treatment. The lead product under development is a diagnostic test called _FERTILARRAY__ TM _. This test will be a novel, non-invasive method for assessing genetic and other prognostic indicators of egg quality and female infertility. Eventually, this test will also help screen women early in their lives for risk of early menopause or fertility difficulties so they can prepare by, for example, freezing their eggs. The development of _FERTILARRAY__ TM _ is based on patented predictive algorithms and the proprietary Celmatix FERTILOME TM DNA Knowledgebase for identifying genetic biomarkers related to female fertility.

In addition to genomics, modern machine learning techniques and other forms of data analytics are a core component of our internal R&D. We mine key clinical success and failure metrics from phenotypic information upstream of our genetic analyses.

We are currently seeking vibrant and motivated individuals to help develop and implement data analytic and data mining algorithms using clinical and bioinformatic data. A successful candidate will have a strong background in statistics, mathematics, machine learning, data mining and computer programming. Experience in working with time-to-event models using clinical data is highly desired. You will be working as part of a team with other data analysts and bioinformatics experts in a highly collaborative and dynamic environment.

This is an opportunity to join one of the fast-rising stars of the nascent biotechnology start-up sector in New York City. The added perks of working for a start up include flexible working hours, excellent health and dental insurance, tax-free commuter program, learning opportunities from seminars and conferences, authorship on high impact publications, and the ability to grow with the business. The areas of genomics and molecular diagnostics are on the verge of a boom, and a job with Celmatix will provide you with expertise that is becoming more in demand throughout industry and academia.
