CLEARCASE ADMINISTRATOR NOVATO, CA CONTRACT OPPORTUNITY

You will be responsible for designing, organizing, modifying, and supporting company computer systems. This includes design and installation of LANs, WANs, Internet and Intranet systems, and network segments. SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE WE NEED:

- Extensive knowledge in ClearCase version 7.0 or higher (both in ClearCase Native and CCRC) required
- Supported OS environments are Windows 7, Windows Servers and Linux
- Performed all the tasks associated with the role of ClearCase Administrator, ie setting up and administering VOBs, setting up Views, creation of VOB and View Servers, backup/restore/repair of VOBs, PVOB creation, VOB migration; creation of ClearCase triggers using Perl; use of ClearCase functions and utilities including clear make, clear import, clear export and fix_prot.; installed, configured, and administered ClearCase on both Clientssome experience with Rational Portfolio Manager
- ClearCase Multisite, uDeploy and Anthill Pro preferred
- Prepared training documents and trained project teams on creating views, editing config spec, creating baselines (branches), creation of builds using baselines (branches), creation of VOB elements, and element types, using ClearCase Explorer, Windows Rxplorer, command line usage (cleartool and cmd) and Merge Manager etc. Detailed documentation on CM tasks using MS Office
- Provided end user support, performed baseline builds, merges, rebase, delivery, install and other SCM activities; experience creating multiple baselines on multiple projects & Publishing the baselines to the different team
- Performed task(s) like adding/removing user's id to ClearCase project/stream access, given access to specific codes/documents & lock codes/documents for specific users
