Class I Driver

Our client requires a Class I (HGV I) Driver to drive routes to deliver and collect goods. This is an on-going role with 4 to 5 days work per week. Start times can vary with routes starting between 04.30 and 15.00.

The Transport office is a pleasant place to report to with a well run site.

The successful applicant must have a minimum of 18 months experience driving a Class I/HGV I lorry in the UK. Must hold a UK licence. No DD or DR convictions to be held on the driving licence.

With the introduction of CPC in September, you will be asked to show the certificates of the units you have to date.

The rate of pay is £10 per hour if you are a Limitied Company worker or £8.02 per hour if you are PAYE. Overtime rates are applicable. At registration, you will be asked to provide proof of identification (passport/visa or full length birth certificate with photographic ID, and proof of your National Insurance card); your full driving licence and card with your digitacho card.
