Citrix Virtual Desktop Engineer Job

CITRIX VIRTUAL DESKTOP ENGINEER needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in St. Louis, MO.

TOP SKILLS SHOULD YOU POSSESS:

- Citrix XenDesktop 5.6
- XenApp 6.5
- Citrix Provisioning Server
- Remote Desktop Solutions
- Windows Group Policies

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Responsible for architecting, designing, developing, testing and documenting virtual desktop and terminal server solutions.
- Product owner on specific technologies and provides guidance to Tier III support groups to remediate pervasive issues.
- Project participation to accurately communicate milestone progress.
- Provide ROI analysis and presentations to multiple levels of management.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, or related field preferred.
- Five (5) plus years of experience with engineering (Assess, Design, Build) client virtualization technologies
- Five (5) plus years of experience with current versions of Citrix XenApp, Citrix XenDesktop, Citrix NetScaler, Citrix Provisioning Services, Microsoft App-V, and VPN technologies
- Expert level knowledge of at least one of the following infrastructure applications is desired:
- Citrix XenApp
- Citrix XenDesktop
- Citrix NetScaler
- Citrix Provisioning Services
- Microsoft App-V
- VPN Technologies
- Established teamwork and leadership skills needed to lead, participate in, and coordinate various efforts
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Ability to clearly write process, analysis, and solution documentation
- Proven ability to accurately interpret, document, and deliver customer requirements
- Ability to successfully communicate technical details to a wide variety of audiences, including technical and non-technical individuals
- Preferred
- VBScript or Powershell Scripting experience
- XenApp/XenDesktop experience servicing over 5,000 users
- XenApp/XenDesktop experience servicing users in different geographical regions
- Experience with VMWare as a virtualization platform
- Experience with enterprise class storage, such as EMC and NetApp
