Citrix Desktop Engineer Job

CITRIX DESKTOP ENGINEER needed for a contract opportunity with Yoh's client located in St. Louis, MO.

- Remote Desktop Solutions

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Responsible for architecting, designing, developing, testing and documenting virtual desktop and terminal server solutions.
- Product owner on specific technologies and provides guidance to Tier III support groups to remediate pervasive issues.
- Project participation to accurately communicate milestone progress.
- Provide ROI analysis and presentations to multiple levels of management.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, or related field preferred.
- Three (3) years' experience in following an engineering development life cycle, including formal requirement gathering, creating detailed design drawings, testing methodologies, developing implementation strategies, and establishing monitoring techniques.
- Demonstrate the ability to design within Information Technology standards.
- Demonstrated proficiency solving complex problems.
- Must possess detail oriented design skills combined with effective time management.
- Must have the ability to interpret business requirements into technical specification.
- Strong leadership qualities with the ability to establish and maintain solid working relationships with peers, vendors, management, and other departments within IT.
- Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Windows Remote Desktop Solution.
- Windows Group Policies.
- Windows print clusters.
- Experience managing Citrix XenDesktop and XenApp in an enterprise environment.
- Experience with 2 of the 3 below.
- XenDesktop 5.6 or higher
- XenApp 6.5 or higher
- Citrix Provisioning Server 6.0 or newer
