Citrix Administrator

A large IT Services company currently have a 6- 12 month requirement for an advanced Citrix Engineer. This contract requires an experienced Citrix Administrator to maintain Citrix XenApp and Desktop environment for up to 1300 users. The role is with a large consultancy provider to work onsite with their customer.
The key purpose of the role is to provide central administration, maintenance and where necessary remote and desk-side support to onsite and remote locations within agreed levels of service.

Key Responsibilities:

- Responsible for installation, administration and support of Citrix environment.
- Advanced Knowledge of Citrix XEN Server, XEN Desktop and XEN App
- Acts as the contact person on technical issues; makes knowledge available to colleagues as managing incidents relating to Citrix environment as they arise.
- Ownership of assigned tasks and resolution of customer problems within SLA.
- The previous use or solid knowledge of Citrix Netscaler is a distinct advantage for this position.
