Cisco VC Engineer (Video Conferencing) - Contract - Portsmouth

Austin Fraser is working with one of their key clients based in Portsmouth who are looking for a Cisco VC Engineer.

The successful candidate will provide level 1 VC engineer support duties as the sole on-site Engineer.
The role is based on a customer site where the main responsibilities involve the rectification of VC faults and the facilitation of new configurations within given Service Level Agreements under guidance from the global team.

Key Skills/Responsibilities:

- On-site responsibility for VideoTeleconferencing environment.
- Configuration backups
- Room troubleshooting and maintenance

Familiarity with:

- Cisco Teleconference Management System (TMS)
- Cisco TelePresence Video Communication Server architecture
- Tandberg Codian devices
- Tandberg/Cisco Gatekeeper devices
- Cisco/Tandberg codecs
- Cisco Unified Presence server (advantageous)
- Cisco Unified Communication Manager (advantageous)
- Partnering with helpdesk and 2nd/3rd line support in Germany
- SSH/telnet/ftp and associated tools e.g PuTTy
- vSphere VM exposure (advantageous)
- Ticketing systems (Remedy)
- MS SharePoint experience
- WebEx experience
- ITIL aware
