Projektbeschreibung
- Works as part of our client on global Cisco Unified Communication operations, support and projects
- Provide consulting and other expert services as well as resolutions for difficult complex problems
- Primary working area are large enterprise Cisco Voice solutions, but additionally involvement in Cisco Video & Conferencing is intended
- Mainly assigned to a global major account with Cisco Unified Communication and Cisco Video & Conferencing implementations but additionally working on other strategic service projects
- Provide successful high quality technical consulting, design, planning and implementation
- Train less experienced internal staff in workshops tailored to the special needs
- Deliver service and operations for implemented solutions, which require a high skilled expert
- Keep in close relationship to the customer to ensure customer satisfaction and develop ideas for business enhancement
- Participate in and partially prepare meetings or phone conferences with the customer to review and improve the technical solutions and quality of service
- Responsible for consulting to customer which includes developing and presenting ideas for technical optimization, answering technical questions and involving experts from Cisco as needed
- Act as problem coordinator or specialist to analyse root causes and plan appropriate actions to prevent reoccurrence
- Responsible for driving escalation of Cisco TAC cases as necessary
- Write instructions for service team concerning operational, configuration and procedural tasks
- Review knowledge base articles as well as develop and update special technical articles
- Perform planning and coordination of changes in configuration, software and hardware and take over implementation tasks remotely
- Identify which software updates and upgrades will provide benefit to the installed solutions, give release recommendations and negotiate roadmap as well as required changes with the customer
- Act as capacity manager or specialist and ensure, that the hardware and software resources meet the operational requirements
- Take over technical parts in availability management and develop solutions for stabilization and improvement
- Use customer and clients tools to handle operations and service processes and provide data for reporting
- Participate in on-call duty after office hours
- Willing to perform shift work
Skills:
- CCNP Voice certification (or CCIE Voice / CCIE Collaboration)
- In depth working experience in Cisco Unified Communications consulting, projects and service
- Working knowledge of MS Office suite
- CCNA Video certification
- Experience in Cisco Video & Conferencing (especially former Tandberg suite) consulting, projects and service
- Experience in Cisco Unified Communications and Cisco Video & Conferencing operations
- Working knowledge of EMC² SMARTS monitoring suite
- Knowledge of ITIL service and operations processes
- Master’s Degree in Computer Science
- 5+ years of related experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Fluent German and English language
- Analytical and technical oriented
- Ability to work as part of a team and independently
- Willing to work non-standard business hours as required by customers
