Cisco Network Engineer

We are seeking a CISCO Network Engineer to work on our client site in Eagen, MN. This is possible contract to hire opportunity! We are specifically looking for the following mix of technologies and skills: Checkpoint, Cisco, MacAfee IDS/IPS, Websense, Cisco VPNs and load balancers, Vulnerability management and scanning.

Responsible for providing second level engineering design function for engineering review of production networks or systems.

QUALIFICATIONS

- BA/BS degree;
- 8+ years experience in information systems, computer networking, telecommunications, systems development and management; significant experience with multiple technical and business disciplines required
- Checkpoint, Cisco, MacAfee IDS/IPS, Websense, Cisco VPNs and load balancers
- Vulnerability management and scanning
- Incumbent should also have expert knowledge of and expertise in at least one core infrastructure technology; can utilize this knowledge in strategic decisions and demonstrate strong leadership and mentoring skills.
