Projektbeschreibung
Wir suchen für den Einsatz bei unserem Kunden mit Sitz in Essen einen Cisco Engineer (m/w). Projekteinsatz ist ab sofort möglich bis voraussichtlich Feb 2015. Reisebereitschaft ins Ausland (Frankreich, Spanien) sollte vorhanden sein. Projektvolumen: Vollzeitauslastung. Projekteinsatz beträgt 3 Tage vor Ort in Essen, restliche Zeit ist remote möglich oder in Düsseldorf.
Aufgabenstellung:
- Engage with key customer and internal stakeholders to produce detailed design documentation and support those designs through to completion
- Act as a subject matter expert, supporting all parties throughout the project lifecycle , providing technical leadership to drive the solution from concept to implemation
- Build strong relationships with customers- understand who stakeholders are and how solutions are delivered
- Produce detailed technical documentation to support engineers in change implementation - this will also involve proof of concept testing
- When required provide 4th line support in areas for which you are responsible
- Work with team to ensure that knowledge and expertise are shared - continual improvement
Gesuchtes Profil:
- Experience of designing LAN & WAN solutions, preferably gained in a large enterprise environment (in-house or customer/ISP)
- Experience of dealing face to face with customers in a high level technical role (i.e. Consultant, Designer, Senior Engineer) , including delivering presentations
- Practical experience of Cisco hardwaessential
- A sounds understanding of best practice in terms of design methodology and enterprise networking in both WAN & LAN environment
- Willingness to engage with team and learn/teach
- Must have technical / professional qualifications:
- Alcatel-Lucent Scalable IP Networks (SRC) knowledge, 7750 SR-Service Router, ESS-Ethernet Service Switch 7450
- CCNP/CCDP of benefit but not essential
- Knowledge of PRINCE2 (or similar)
- Good English and German Skills
