CHURN COMMERCIAL MANAGER - CHURN - FORECAST - TV

Our client, a large broadcasting client is currently recruiting a Churn Commercial Manager for a 6 month initial contract based in Osterley, West London. This role is starting as soon as possible.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

We are looking for a highly numerate and commercial individual who is extremely data literate and has experience working with and building forecasting models; specifically in forecasting performance and predictive models (trading/sales & marketing activity would be beneficial).

Experience of modelling subscriber churn is essential. They will need to be comfortable in demonstrating previous experience of Excel and PowerPoint as as well as the ability to glean actionable insight from data. Experience in measuring trading activity & performance is essential as well as experience of working in a fast paced and pressured commercial environment.

They will have experience in presenting data in a clear fashion, with the ability to explain variances to forecast, highlight drivers to performance or distil analysis into key findings in simple language, in a coherent way and where necessary, backed by clear graphs or diagrams.

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL:

- You'll be able to build and maintain Excel forecasting models to take inputs from our media agencies, internal reports, marketing plans and other sources to create a bottom-up sales forecast
- You will be expected to be able to manipulate this model to quickly run 'what-if' scenarios based on changes to any of the inputs, and refine the accuracy of this model as actual data becomes available
- You will be able to provide high-level, graphical or visual summaries of the sales plan and its output in a form suitable for senior-level presentation
- Ultimately be able to use the insight gathered from the data and reports to identify trends and opportunities to increase the overall efficiency of our clients sales plan
- Provide consolidated re-forecasts and latest KPI views as required

To be successful in this role you must have great analytical skills, attention to detail and an innate ability to spot trends within large amounts of information and data. You'll have excellent communication skills and be able to present complex ideas simply, using compelling data charting and visualisation techniques.
