Social Worker -Referral and Assessment - West Midlands

A number of Qualified Social Worker is required to join a busy Referral and Assessment Team in the
Birmingham area.

Working within the Assessment team, you will have the following responsibilities-
-To respond to queries and referrals from a number of different sources
-Undertake Initial Visits to families and conduct risk assessments.
- To investigate any concerns of neglect through Section 47 Investigations
- Work on Duty where necessary - often screening all incoming calls
-To work with children and their families in ensuring the family unit remains together where possible.
-Manage your time and caseload with accurate timekeeping and information recording.

All appointments are subject to CRB clearances and HCPC registration.
