Children with Disabilities Social Worker-London

Here is a great opportunity for a Qualified Social Worker (QSW) to join a local authority based in Greater London. You will be joining a Children with Disabilities Team (CWD) who receive excellent supervision and support from their management network. It is a contract position in which, for the right candidate, you could earn up to £30 per hour.

You will need to have at least two years experience with a background in child protection. Ideally experience in disabilities is preferred for you will be holding the more complex cases of children with a variety of special needs/disabilities, carrying out Initial and Core assessments leading to or from s.47 investigations and/or Court cases. Many of the children are LAC children under s.20 & s.31 so court work, writing statements, care plans, revocation of placement order, s.7 reports and parenting assessments will be required. You will have to hold the relevant social work qualification and be HCPC registered.
