Child CARE Protection Adviser - Lochgilphead - 3 Months

CHILD CARE PROTECTION ADVISER - LOCHGILPHEAD - 3 MONTHS INITIAL.

Our Argyle & Bute based client has a fantastic opportunity for a Child Care Protection Adviser. This is initially a 3 month contract based in Lochgilphead.

The successful candidate will be required to:

- To lead the development of Children & Families fieldwork services throughout the region working in conjunction with key partners including Health, Education, Strathclyde Police and Voluntary Sector.
- To devise and implement integrated service development plans in conjunction with key partners.
- To have responsibility for all fieldwork staff within Children & Families, including all Area Managers and the Lead Officer for GIRFEC/Child Protection.
- To directly manage senior staff within the service area.
- To maintain a database of all services and service developments through effective use, maintenance and management of the CareFirst system to ensure an efficient and equitable delivery of services.
- To ensure the effective implementation of Health & Safety procedures and report any shortfalls to senior management.
- To ensure the effective administration of all personnel procedures within the service area.

ESSENTIAL

- Dip SW or Equivalent
- SSSC Registration
