Our client, a global systems integrator, is looking to take on a Chef developer. As a Chef developer you will develop the automation of virtual Servers from creation of a machine to deployment of software components on the machine. The machines to automate the creation of include Servers that are shared by teams such as YUM Servers, Nexus, Jenkins as well as Servers specific to project teams such as web Servers and application Servers. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of Software Development ideally in Agile/XP environments as opposed to waterfall. Self-starter that will identify what is needed by verbal communication so needs good verbal skills as will be working with team members in the USA and India.
