CHASIS TECHNICIAN I needed for a CONTRACT HIRE opportunity with Yoh's client located in IRVINE, CA.

THE BIG PICTURE - TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:

- Direct experience with optical assembly and metrology
- Strong computer skills
- Dependable and reliable

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Support the assembly, alignment, integration and test of a complex optical system used for Laser-based cataract surgery
- Ability to use a wide variety of optical metrology (interferometers, wavefront sensors, cameras and telescopes)
- Required to align and test a precision optical system
- Subassembly, assembly and system level building, integration and testing of Laser scanning, focusing and imaging optics for medical devices
- Contribute to the development of tooling, fixtures and processes for assembly and testing

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Three (3) years experience of optical alignment
- Integration and test experience that incorporates lasers, imaging systems, optical metrology, interferometers and spectrometers, and computer data acquisition.

BONUS POINTS! OTHERWISE KNOWN AS PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- Bachelors degree preferred
