Change Manager

An exciting opportunity exists for a Change Manager with extensive experience in supporting new business process design and technology implementations with in the public sector. The successful candidate will have a significant proven reflection of these requirements and superb communication skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Defining, scheduling and implementing the Change Management activities
- Accountable for the execution and success of the defined Change Management activities from project initiation through to project closure. This will include Stakeholder management and engagement, communications plans, benefits realisation plans, facilitating business process development, facilitating Business Impact Assessments, engaging the Operational Training facility and managing training development and delivery, and supporting the business through pilots and implementation
- Managing the change management schedule of activities (MS Project) and change management resources required for the projects
- Developing and tracking Benefits Realisation plans
- Developing Stakeholder Matrix, Engagement and Communications plans
- Developing and publishing the Business Change Management Plan
- Ensuring the business is ready for change with appropriate assessment, engagement and communications
- Managing the scope and monitoring the development and delivery of training activities
- Defining and implementing resistance plans if necessary
- Assist with transition to "business as usual"

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

- Experience in the government sector
- Demonstrated experience in senior Change Management roles
- Experience in managing change related to technology implementations
- Experience in managing change related to new business process/business transformation activities
- The ability to develop and manage a detailed change management schedule in Project
- Proven senior stakeholder management experience
- Tertiary degree or equivalent.
