This is a 6 month contract opportunity.Overview
Our Client is seeking a Change Management Consultant.
Role and Responsibilities
In this intermediate-level role, you will leverage your knowledge and experience of change so as to effectively manage the people side of change. You will work within the Change Management Office to provide effective change management on a variety of change projects and initiatives with our field clients. You will utilize a standard change management methodology and will be responsible for conducting readiness assessments, developing change management strategies and plans and implementing those plans to minimize employee resistance and maximize employee engagement.
Qualifications
Required Skills:
- Proven experience and knowledge of change management principles and methodologies
- Excellent facilitation experience
- Solid understanding of change process and how it affects individuals and organizations
- Strong understanding of Project Management Practices and Systems Delivery Lifecycle
- Ability to do detailed tactical work but also the ability think strategically and consider the big picture
- Experience/ability to take a practical approach to adapting and implementing methodologies according to corporate culture
- Some prior Oil and Gas IT experience would be very beneficial
- Proven ability to work in a dynamic environment and adapt quickly to change
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Solid analytical, problem solving and decision making skills
- Action oriented personality with the ability to keep on top of many tasks simultaneously.
