Senior Change Manager

Position in the program
The Change Manager will report to the project leader and will be part of the Business Change and Communication team

The Change Manager interfaces with stakeholders in several regions and on several levels within the organization. The Change Manager guides, coaches and facilitates the stakeholders and work stream leads through the embedding of the new way of working with related processes and entities.
Since the geographical focus will be on Asia, travelling arrangements will be part of this assignment. The central project will be managed from the Netherlands.

Job Description

The Change Consultant
* Aligns and agrees activities with the project manager
* Designs and executes the Change & Communication plan
* Manages and coordinates the communication activities
* Leverages and maintains a change agent network in several regions of the business
* Enables, supports, and challenges the team in their roles by eg coaching, attendance of local meetings, tools, best practices sharing etc.
* Defines and executes appropriate interventions to mitigate Change Management risks
* Acts as 'sparring partner' for the project manager
* Is fully at ease in working with senior and middle management, but also in working with operational departments
* Has a hands-on mentality and is willing to pick up any operational aspects of the design and implementation
* Produces and provides input for and reviews communication materials

Educational/Experience Level
The Change Manager has experience in the role of Change manager in large implementation projects, in a (preferably technical) manufacturing environment, and has a HBO/WO education level. Ideally, experience with Asian countries and financial projects (eg accounting, tax) completes the fit.

Experience:

We are looking for an experienced Change Manager who:
* Has at least 5-8 years of work experience
* Has at least 6 years experienced in specific Change Management roles
* Is experienced in planning and executing communication activities
* Is experienced in planning and managing the Change curve
* Has knowledge of the most common Change Management theories (eg Kotter, de Caluwe, Johnson, Graves and Hofstede)
* Has experience in working on projects in a technical discrete industry environment
* Has proven coaching experience

Personal Skills
* Hands-on and pragmatic mindset
* Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships on different levels in the organization
* Sensitive to political environments and multiple stakeholder agenda's
* Good knowledge of both Dutch and English language
* Strong communication skills (listening, asking the right questions and expression)
* Creative, pragmatic and proactive
* Drive, enthusiasm and persistence
* Able to convince, inspire and motivate people
