Our client, a large Energy provider, is currently looking to recruit a Change Consultant with experience in a customer service environment. This is an immediate requirement to be based in East Grinstead on an initial 6 month contract. The Change Consultant leads change management activities on small scale transformation projects in order to deliver successful organisational and people transformation, embedding sustainable change and ensuring delivery of business benefits.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Small Projects:
*Define and develop change strategy and plan in line with Change Management toolkit, to include impact assessment and defining engagement and consultation approach.
*Define and develop fit for purpose communication strategy and plan, and implement these.
*Define and develop training and development approach
*Support Business Leaders in organisational design activities, where the changes introduced will result in significant changes to working practices and roles.
*Coach key stakeholders in People Change

Medium/Large Projects:
*Operate as a workstream lead in a specialist area; Change and Transition, Learning and Development, Communications and Engagement, Organisational Design, providing expertise to drive the workstream forward.
*Define and develop the Change Management approach and implementation plan for the area in which they are lead within the project, to ensure the project progress can be tracked, monitored and driven forward
*Deliver the change implementation plan for the lead area to ensure successful organisational and cultural transformation.
*Forges and maintains influential relationships with project stakeholder within the business and transformation communities
*Manages and delivers the stakeholder plan

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
*Recognition as a subject matter expert in at least one Change Management discipline eg ER, Communications, Training and Development.
*Experience of formal project management techniques eg Prince2
*Previous experience of Change Projects/Programmes, to include Training, Change and Comms, Organisation Design and Business Readiness
*Operational awareness of business and customer challenges, variations in cultures and behaviours and to demonstrate credibility in advocating change within a Sponsor's business
*Ability to demonstrate previous on time and in budget delivery of small projects
*Understanding of the key concepts and tools as developed within the Toolkit/People Change Framework
*Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication and presentation
*Strong workshop facilitation and interview skills, including negotiation, influence, mediation and conflict management skills
*The credibility to challenge the business on current thinking and influence outcomes
*Coaching at a Stakeholder/Leadership level
*Ability to develop Change Champion network
