CFD Simulation Engineer

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
.Performing CFD simulations of engine systems: exhaust, coolant, aftertreatment, and thermal management systems
.Closely work with design engineers to solve flow, performance, and thermal issues
.Document analysis objectives, conclusions, results, and assumptions.
.Interpret analysis results and communicate recommendations for design improvement.
.Contribute to the identification, analysis, and resolution of needs and problems in fluid flow and temperature predictions and begin to build a reputation as an expert
.Perform complex analysis work, identify, and solve problems
.Keep up to date on new technologies and/or develop new technologies
.Support and advise other engineers, managers, marketing personnel, dealers, customers, and suppliers
.Develop and maintain a keen understanding of internal and external customers' needs
.Research and investigate the design, functionality and maintenance of mechanical products, equipment, systems and processes.

SKILLS:

REQUIREMENTS:
1) Advanced engineering degree
2) Expertise in computational fluid dynamics (CFD)
3) CFD solver experience - FLUENT
4) CFD pre-processor experience - ANSA or ICEM
5) Experience in engine system modelling (exhaust manifolds, coolant systems, etc.)
6) 3-5 years engineering experience (simulation)
