Certified Project Manager 3

JOB DESCRIPTION

We're looking for someone with significant Project Management and/or Project Quality Assurance Review experience in a PeopleSoft environment.

We need a Quality Assurance Review for our Peoplesoft Financials Upgrade project. The QA Review should cover all aspects of the project and provide feedback on the status of key areas.

A key deliverable will be validation of successes and identification of areas for improvement or concern for key project phases/deliverables.

This feedback will be used by project management and governance committees to help guide the project.

The project is just finishing the build phase and we'd like a QA review as we move into the initial testing phase.

We'd also another like a QA review prior to our implementation currently scheduled for October 2013.

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

- Must possess extensive knowledge and expertise in the use of project management methodologies and tools, resource management practices and change management techniques.
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or other related field. Or equivalent work experience.
- Project Management certification or successful completion of a recognized project management curriculum is required.
- Minimum 10 years project management/QA Review experience
- Experience with large projects with varied stakeholder groups
- Previous QA Review experience
- People focused skills, ability to work with a variety of personalities and viewpoints

HELPFUL SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

- Experience with Peoplesoft Financials
- Experience in the Higher Education industry
