Infrastructure Project Manager (specialized in Telecom)

For our client, a company active in the energy sector, we are looking for an Infrastructure Project Manager (specialized in Telecom) - FR DU EN - Brussels, to be responsible for infrastructure inventory management, IP deployment and technical project management in datacom transport for IP, Ethernet and Wi-Fi networks.

Responsibilities:

- High-level project management and status reporting
- High-level inventory management
- Collection and consolidation of needs in close cooperation with several technical departments
- Organization of cross-departmental meetings
- Needs Translation in projects in line with the strategy
- Technical solution design (infrastructure)
- Management of the strategic plan
- Participation in Request For Proposal (RFP) processes

Profile:

- Master's degree in telecommunications engineering or equivalent in experience
- Theoretical, practical and operational knowledge of LAN and WAN networks and technologies as cabling technologies (Fiber, Copper, …), SDH, PDH, access, optical and SHDSL modems, routing, switching…
- You continuously refine and broaden your knowledge of LAN and WAN networks
- You have strong skills for portfolio management and strategical consolidation of needs
- You have strong project management and analytical skills
- You can assimilate new technical information quickly
- You have very strong written and oral communication skills, including cross-departmental communication and communication with senior management
- You are fluent in French, Dutch and English
- You can work independently and methodically
- You are customer-oriented and coping well with stress
- You are a team-player willing to share knowledge
